The PIS 2023 has already been running since February 15, with a total of more than 23.6 million Brazilian workers eligible to receive the benefit.
According to the Deliberative Council of the Workers' Support Fund (Codefat), the total amount transferred exceeds R$24 billion.
It is worth remembering that this payment refers to the 2021 base year and the deposits follow the order of the worker's month of birth. Currently, those born in January and February are benefiting.

Understanding PIS
The Social Integration Program (PIS) is an initiative that guarantees workers in the private sector access to benefits guaranteed by law, while also contributing to the development of companies.
The PIS was established by Complementary Law No. 7/1970, with the aim of promoting the integration of private sector employees into the growth of the companies they work for.
Currently, the PIS 2023 payment is made by Caixa Econômica Federal, and the amount allocated to each worker varies according to their place of work and salary received.
